It contains over 1500 entries, dated between 1824 and 1958. Entries include name, date of burial, age at death & a grave plot reference of column/row. Every entry with a complete grave plot reference has been sorted into grave order creating a ‘grave book’. The plan of the plots has been created which also show which graves have monumental inscriptions.

Little Lane has had many names since it was built 120 years ago: Girlington Congregational School-Chapel → Girlington United Reformed Church → Heaton URC → Heaton St Andrew’s URC → Little Lane Ecumenical Partnership. This fully searchable CD consists of a brief resume of the way in which some Independent churches evolved from each other, the people who worked and worshipped there and the memorials to them. Church mergers followed and all eventually ended up at Little Lane. The churches concerned are Greenfield Congregational Church, Salem Independent/Congregational/URC, (inc Valley School, Queens Road Sunday School), Listerhills Congregational Church, Brownroyd URC, St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Girlington Methodist & Baptist Churches, Hallfield & Allerton Baptist Churches.
