Join over a group of enthusiastic family historians who enjoy the benefits of membership of the Society.
We welcome new members from around the world and especially those with their ancestral roots in this part of Yorkshire. We offer a range of membership options, depending on whether you wish to join as a single or family member, and if you choose to receive a printed copy of the quarterly Journal or an electronic PDF copy.
Annual fees for membership of the Bradford Family History Society start from only £10 per year.
Member Benefits
Society members receive a number of benefits:
- Attend Society meetings and benefit from the talks (see Programme of events) and discuss your research problems with other members.
- Quarterly magazine, the Bod-Kin. In addition, the latest Bodkins are available online and can be viewed or downloaded via the site.
- Submit your research interests and have them published in our Directory of Members’ Interests. A facility to enter and search these on-line will be available shortly.
- A library of useful articles from previous magazines are available to assist your research.
- Benefit from our Link Scheme if you do not live in the Bradford area. A local member will undertake to do limited research on your behalf on an expenses-only basis. Details of the Link Scheme will be sent to you with your New Member’s Pack.
