Other Folks Rubbish…. We are all of an age where we put things away because they might come in at some time… As family history seekers it is quite often the time when a family member had passed on and their house has to be cleared that we find things they put away just in case and of course some precious keep sakes. These on the face of it may see to be rubbish to some one else but to that person they meant something to.
On a lighter side what else do we put away…men keep lengths of wood in the shed hmm, why? Well it might come in. Those plugs men cut off and save and what about all those half tins of paint we keep because, you have got it now, they will come in.
Doors at the Mechanics Institute, 76 Kirkgate, Bradford, BD1 1SZ will open at 10:00am and the talk will start at 10:30am - press the button on the door outside marked 2nd floor for entry.
Entrance Fee will be £1.50 for Members and £2.50 for non-members.
The talk can also be joined via Zoom. Please logon to the Members Area of our website and then book a place. The cost will be £2 via PayPal. The Zoom link will be sent out a few days before the meeting.
