A 500 page indexed transcription on 7 fiche of the Burial Registers, Grave Books and Monumental Inscriptions.
This first burial ground in Eccleshill, originally for members of Prospect Wesleyan Chapel, but made available to all denominations in 1896, predates Eccleshill Parish Church Cemetery by 19 years. Over 6000 persons from Eccleshill and the surrounding area are recorded in this transcription. The Monumental Inscriptions of this, now closed, cemetery have been transcribed from the existing gravestones and include some corrections to Arthur Blackburn's earlier transcriptions. For monuments no longer extant Blackburn's transcriptions have been included in this transcription.
